Our Kathadin lambs are pasture raised and given plenty of TLC to ensure that they are healthy and thriving. No growth hormones or antibiotics are given to the animals for purpose of boosting weight gain. We believe in creating a natural food source for the animals so they will be healthier and provide a tasty and safe product for consumption. We use a pasture rotation system to help decrease parasite infestation, decrease the use of dewormers and medications, and provide a steady supply of lush grasses for the sheep. The lambs are professionally processed and packaged at a USDA inspected processing plant.
Availability: Late Summer thru Winter
Our meat chickens are Red Broilers that are raised on pasture, supplemented with grain, and antibiotic free. The Red Broiler grows at a more natural rate than the White/Commercial Broilers. This slower growth rate in the Red Broilers allows for less physical problems that are commonly seen in other breeds and improves the animal’s welfare. We are inspected by the NCDA and have been approved to do all the processing and packaging onsite so the birds never leave our farm. The chickens are processed at the appropriate time based on their weight. We have several processing times throughout the year to provide steady stocking rates of meat.
Freshly Packaged: April 17 | May 29 | July 3
What is the big deal about mushrooms anyway? Mushrooms have many great qualities that make them a great addition to your diet. They are fat-free, cholesterol-free, low calorie, and low sodium; which allows you to add flavor to your food without the fat and sodium. In addition to these qualities, they are also packed full of antioxidants, beta-glucans, vitamins and minerals. These nutrients, in mushrooms, help stimulate immune health, heart health, intestinal health, longevity and weight loss. We quickly became very interested in the process of growing mushrooms and have not turned back. We started by growing and replicating our mushrooms from verified pure cultures. We use the necessary aseptic techniques to prevent contamination of our mushrooms with other fungi or bacteria, which leads to clean and delicious mushrooms.

The dehydrated mushrooms can be rehydrated in your recipes while maintaining the same great taste and nutritional benefits as the freshly harvested option.
We raise a variety of laying hens that produce a diverse but delicious assortment of brown and blue eggs. Our hens are free ranging and spend their day foraging on a natural diet.
